This Saturday we celebrated Halloween weekend with more than 130 of our closest friends. Zombies, superheroes and princesses alike, joined forces and laced up their bowling shoes for an afternoon of festivities and fun.
Our eighth annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser turned out to be a BIG success. The afternoon included bowling, prizes, music, food, costume contests and fun for all ages. Bigs, Littles, families and sponsors came together to celebrate the hard work they put forth over the last few months to raise support of our life-changing mentoring programs. Danni Starr of 96.3 NOW and Jonathan Rabb of CW Twin Cities were generous enough to emcee the event.
We thank each and every one of you who worked so hard to make this event the BIG success that it was. We raised a grand total of $32,395. None of this would have been possible without you! For anyone wishing to continue the fundraising fun, Firstgiving pages will remain open until the end of the year. So tell your friends, family and coworkers there is still time to donate. Every dollar counts!
All our fundraisers deserve a special round of applause. Our top five fundraising teams went exceptionally BIG and brought in over half of our total amount raised. Those inspiring individuals and team leaders are:
